We are on the world wide web: See all about us at: www.moaswfl.echapters.com
Enjoy camaraderie: We gather each month for dinner at one of the many country clubs in the area. At that time we have a short business meeting and normally have a presentation pertinent to the membership. These meetings are attended by members, spouses and guests. It is a great chance to meet new friends, renew old friendships and catch up on the latest news.
An Asset to Our County and State: We support and our volunteers participate in activities such as: Memorial Day, Independence Day and Veterans Day. We support members of the armed forces through collaboration with the Collier County Veterans Council and our community with our Holiday Gift Program for selected charities.

Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps ( JROTC ): We believe firmly in the youth of America and believe that JROTC helps produce good citizens. We support 8 county high school JROTC Detachments. Additionally, we honor outstanding cadets, their parents, their Senior Instructors and spouses at an annual awards banquet. Our members present MOAA Award Medals to cadets at high school commencement award ceremonies.

Fun Times: We have an annual Holiday Dinner Dance at which time members may donate gifts for our Holiday Gift Program to bring a happier holiday to the less fortunate in our community. We have a Formal Military Ball with installation of officers in January at which time members and guests are encouraged to wear their dress uniforms, and many do. We also have Monthly Social Events throughout the year with a variety of timely and interesting topics.
Help for Surviving Spouse: Support of a survivor assistance program is available upon request.
Spouses Club Membership: The MOASWF Spouses Club is an informal social group in which anyone may participate. Members and their guests usually meet monthly for a luncheon at various restaurants in the area, at a member’s home or other places of interest. There are no dues. Our monthly Chapters Affairs Bulletin is delivered to members electronically or by regular mail upon request.
